The site

Graphing Calculator Apps has existed since 2013. We compare calculator apps for students, teachers and schools — what they cost, which platforms they run on, whether they show ads, and how faithfully they reproduce the classic classroom calculator workflow.

How we test

Every app we review is installed and run through the same coursework checklist: function entry and graphing, tracing and zeros, window and zoom settings, statistics and regressions, matrices, and distribution functions. We verify current pricing and platform availability before every update. If you spot an error, email contact@graphingcalculatorapps.com and we'll fix it.

Disclosure

The team behind this site also develops some of the apps reviewed here — Taculator 84, Graphing Calculator Pro⁸⁴ and Calculate 84 AI. We disclose this rather than hide it: our rankings follow the testing criteria above, and third-party apps are described as accurately as we can, including their strengths.
